Is an internal high school transcript accepted?
Yes, as long as it is original and does not bear the name of the school district superintendent.
For undergraduate studies:

- Step 1: The interested party must go to the Information and Admission department with all the required documents, where their validity will be verified.

- Step 2: After the documents have been verified, the applicant must fill out an electronic form, a process that will allow them to obtain a four-digit identification code, which they will use temporarily until a registration number is assigned.

Applicants who require it may have assistance from trained personnel to fill out the electronic forms. Likewise, they have the option to fill it out from any computer, inside or outside the university, in which case they must submit their documentation along with the four-digit code to proceed to step 3.

- Step 3: The student will go to the cashier, where the person in charge of payment will enter the code number provided by the student and, with the data obtained, will proceed to issue the payment receipt.

- Step 4: With the payment receipt issued by the cashier, the student must return to the Information and Admission department, where they must show it and submit the required documents for enrollment, which will be reviewed again by the person in charge. This person will review, complete, and confirm the student's data in the electronic enrollment form.

- Step 6: After this, the system will automatically assign the corresponding registration number, which includes the student in the university's registration system, as well as the section with the class schedule corresponding to the period in which the student is enrolling.

At this point, the student has completed their enrollment process and will receive a printed copy of their class schedule with their section location and their registration number. With this number, they will go to the ID card office to obtain the card that will identify them as an O&M student. The student will also receive printed material with general university information and the academic and administrative processes they must carry out during their time at this institution, as well as the date and place where they must take the Academic Orientation and Measurement Test (POMA).
The Academic Orientation and Measurement Test (POMA) of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT) must be taken by all applicants for careers related to teacher training (Education) nationwide, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 09/15 for Quality Teacher Training in the Dominican Republic. The test is completely free of charge.

  • Verbal concepts or words.
  • Mathematical concepts or numbers.

  • Verbal Reasoning.

The purpose of this guide is to provide essential information to help students prepare with greater confidence to take the College Board Scholastic Aptitude Test (PAA). The guide contains general information, a description of its parts, and explanations of the different types of exercises with suggestions on how to prepare to answer them. Additionally, you will find a practice test, the answer sheet, and the correct answers. We recommend that you answer the practice exercises and then self-evaluate by comparing your answers with the correct ones. The guide is expected to be very useful in the preparation process for the PAA.
We offer preparatory courses for the PAA. For more information, contact the Student Relations Department by sending an email with the subject "PAA Preparatory Courses" to [email protected] or [email protected].
